1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing https://www.axissplintingsolutions.com (the “Site”) or registering for any course offered by Axis Management Solutions, LLC, dba Axis Splinting Solutions (“we,” “our,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or register for our courses.
2. Nature of Services
We provide cash-based continuing education courses for occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and related professionals. These courses are for professional education purposes only and are not covered by insurance. Course content is educational and does not replace your independent clinical judgment, your scope of practice, applicable laws and regulations, or physician orders.
3. Eligibility and Registration
Participants must hold appropriate licensure and be in good standing. You must provide accurate registration information and pay all fees in full before your spot is confirmed. Space is limited, and seats are confirmed in the order payment is received.
4. Payment, Refunds, and Cancellations
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Intuit (QuickBooks Payments). We may also use other processors, such as Stripe or PayPal, in the future. Your payment is subject to the processor’s terms and privacy policy.
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing to kimberly@axismanagementsolutions.com.
- Cancellations made 10 or more days before the course receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 10 days before the course are subject to a 25% administrative fee.
- No refunds are issued for no-shows or cancellations made after the course begins.
- You may request to transfer your registration to a future course date, subject to space availability and provider approval.
- If we cancel or postpone a course, registered participants will be notified by email and may choose a full refund or a transfer to a rescheduled date, if available. We will make every effort to provide at least 7 days’ notice.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 30 days.
5. Promo Codes
Promo codes are limited to one per registration, have no cash value, cannot be combined with other offers, and cannot be applied after payment is made. We may change or end any promotion at any time.
6. Continuing Education Credit
Continuing education credit details for each course, if applicable, are listed on that course’s page. Participants are responsible for confirming with their licensing board that credit will be accepted. Credit is awarded only to participants who meet all posted completion requirements.
7. Accommodations
Participants who need accommodations may email kimberly@axismanagementsolutions.com at least two weeks before the course. We will work with you in good faith to provide reasonable accommodations.
8. Hands-On Participation and Safety
Our courses include hands-on fabrication using heated water, heat guns, thermoplastic materials, and cutting tools, and participants may mold orthoses on one another. You agree to follow instructor safety guidance, use equipment responsibly, and tell the instructor about any condition, allergy, or injury that may affect your participation. You may be asked to sign a participation release at check-in. You participate at your own risk.
9. Participant Conduct
We expect professional, respectful conduct from all participants. We may remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate, without a refund, and that participant will not receive a certificate of completion.
10. Photography and Recording
We may take photographs or video during courses for educational and promotional use, including on our website, social media, and advertising. If you do not want to appear in photos or video, please tell the instructor at check-in and we will respect your request. Participants may not record any portion of a course without written permission.
11. Intellectual Property
All course materials (lectures, videos, handouts, slides, graphics, and certificates) and Site content are owned by Axis Management Solutions, LLC. You may use course handouts for your own clinical practice and client education, but you may not reproduce, sell, or distribute course materials, or use them to teach others, without our written permission.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites, such as payment processors. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those websites.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and courses are provided “as is” without any guarantee of results, license renewal, credit acceptance by a particular board, or employment advancement.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the full extent permitted by law, Axis Management Solutions, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or participation in courses. Our total liability for any claim related to a course will not exceed the registration fee you paid for that course.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Axis Management Solutions, LLC, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims arising from your use of the Site, your participation in a course, or your violation of these Terms.
16. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. All disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Terms in effect at the time you register apply to that registration.
18. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in full effect.
