Kimberly has nearly 17 years of experience as a licensed occupational therapist, including 13 years specializing in hand therapy, and is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). How many CEUs will I earn for completing the splinting course?

Who is eligible to take this course?
This course is designed for licensed occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants, including certified hand therapists, who want to strengthen their splinting knowledge and hands-on fabrication skills. Licensed physical therapists are also welcome; please confirm with your licensing board whether the course meets your continuing education requirements.
3. Do I need prior splinting experience?
No prior splinting experience is required. The course is taught at an intermediate level and works best for practitioners with foundational knowledge of upper-extremity anatomy and conditions. Live demonstrations and guided, hands-on fabrication take you step by step through each orthosis.
What materials or tools will I need?
Nothing. All thermoplastic materials, strapping, heating equipment, and tools are provided during the in-person course. Just bring yourself, comfortable clothing, and a willingness to learn.
